I have for some months now, been working on this winget-based program manager that I think I can present now.
It is still a little rough in the edges, but the functionallity is there now and I am working on ironing out the last little things.
There is an issue with a button being to big, so it overlaps another, but that is the only issue I have found yet.
This suite is in two parts:
WinUpdate
This is an updater that runs manual, at upstart or in the sys-tray. It simply keep you updated and on mouseover in sys-tray, the way I like to run it you gete told how many if any updates are available. By clicking on the icon, the app openes and you can select which of the app packages you want to install. It keeps you updated, that's it's purpose.
WinProgramManager
Is just what the name says it is. It's a program manager to find, install reinstall and uninstall apps. And there is over 10 000 apps there, so I have used quite some time to categorize them and I have added a search system som can search in search result and also support regex.
Try it out. It doesn't cost anything it is GPLv2.
I will be working stedily to make the apps better and since this is only a honbby for me, I do not have a team of testers, so any feedback will be nice.
At present, the app supports English, Swedish, and Norwegian.
I also take request for new features.
