Solved Address bar as part of task bar

in Windows 10 and earlier, one could add toolbars, notably an Address Bar, to the task bar. Is this possible in Windows 11?

Yes, but not natively! You'll need some 3rd party software to enable an alternative Explorer shell, such as Explorer Patcher or StartAllBack.

StartAllBack can do that? I'll have to investigate. I'm already considering StartAllBack for other reasons.

This is wonderful. I was aware of StartAllBack as a start menu replacement, but didn't know it could fix the task bar as well. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
