Hello, i have Asus gaming laptop connected to HP Docking Station via USB-C which is connected to two MSI Optix G27CQ4 monitors using DisplayPort. I am using this setup for almost half a year now and everything worked fine. Today after 2 months or so i updated my Windows, and turned the pc off. After hour or so i turned it on, turned on the monitors and they showed the MSI logo and then black screen. Windows detects both of the monitors and i can move the mouse pointer to them, but they won't show anything.
I tried following things:
  • uninstall every windows update that i installed today
  • restarted pc few times
  • turned both monitors off and on few times
  • downloaded new drivers for both Intel and nVidia graphics card
  • uninstalled Intel Iris XE drivers
  • downloaded Intel drivers second time
  • updated Windows
  • tried using different resolution and different hertz on both monitors

But nothing helped. Can anyone help me?

My specs: Asus Tuf Dash F15 gaming laptop, Intel Core i7 11th gen, Intel Iris XE, nVidia Geforce RTX 3060 Laptop, 16GB Ram, Latest Windows 11 Home

I dont have your exact setup however i run dual monitors and had this happen about 2 updates ago, only way i fixed it was to totally UNPLUG and Disconnect the monitors. Turn off PC. Reconnect monitors in order, left one then right one and turn the PC back on. Worked for me. Apparently it needed to re-establish connection to them.

If these 2 monitors are showing a black screen how are you operating it? Using the laptop display only? Does the TUF have monitor Function keys to select the monitors in use? Are you operating the laptop with it's panel closed?

I'm a computer enthusiast so have quite a few systems that I run. More like an advanced hobby.

With the lid closed are you seeing the BIOS splash screen at start-up, before Windows starts?

It didn't helped. I did all your steps and still same. I also tried connecting my HP laptop and it works completely fine.
