Thanks guys,
I don't want to install a new OS if possible. I just to boot with a USB Key and test the keyboard.
Can this be done with Ubuntu 24.04 LTS? can you please tell me how to put the iso on USB?
Should I use rufus?
burn the Ubuntu ISO with Rufus just as you would burning a Windows ISO.
then restart the system going into the boot menu
then boot from the USB showing in the boot menu
this will start the live session.
note .. this does not install anything on or to your system
its a live Linux environment so you can test the keyboard.
edit .. just read the whole thread and it looks likely to be a hardware issue
best of luck, Steve ..

That would be every single day for me. The problem is that I probably forget more things than I learn at this point.
Me in practicing the here-after, walk into a room, look around and ask myself "What am I here after?".

Thanks guys,
I was able to unlock it. On this laptop I had to flip the black part on the back and not the white one.
I re-inserted the cable and made sure it was firmly in , but the problem is still present.
Will contact Lenovo Monday to get this fixed.
