I have done the configuration without any problem, but when I launch Amazon Appstore it stays blocked and I cannot connect.

I activated the 1-Clik link on my Amazon account, I deactivated my VPN, nothing to do Amazon Appstore launches and remains blocked.

How to fix this problem?

Well, this option only works for US or Japanese versions of Amazon account.

Checked virtualisation on in task manager then just downloaded the Amazon Store App from the Microsoft Store and it set up automatically. Check your AV isn't blocking it.

The app is (allegedly) compatible but the Amazon Appstore has yet to catch up as it will not work with UK Amazon accounts, and it is difficult to set up a US based Amazon account without a US credit card - I tried and it would not accept UK credit cards.

I've logged in with my UK account. I installed the BBC News app from the app store. I know that's a free app but I'm able to use my UK amazon account on Windows

I was incorrect - it is now available in UK, and even on official 22H2 not just Insider.

I am not sure - Appstore is integral with Kindle sales. Why would Amazon shoot themselves in the foot offering all Kindles can use for free on pcs?

Even when I used my Kindle, I rooted it so I could access the much larger google playstore.

There were a lot more Amazon/Android apps when looking in the Appstore directly than when looking at them through MS store

I changed the regional settings, and activated the Windows Insider Program.
