If I was ever at a golf course and saw those turquoise-laser-beam tracers on the golf ball... I'd be running for the hills.

Oh dont worry those are only on as guides, you can turn em all off, however im pretty sure you'd be miles off the pace with up to date physics and courses with all the stuff turned off :) Links was a nice arcade game :) Key word, WAS, Is that a stick man i see as the golfer? I love the 1995 style 2d like effect it has, just like you want in golf! Take a chill pill just because the golf game you play is prehistoric and outdated in literally everyway :)
And sadly, i wish it was a laser beam! Its a guide only, So the ball doesn't go where the blue line is btw :)

Well... I did great on the front 9, not so much on the back 9.
This is a very hard course, btw...

18 holes in the Scottish Highlands gave me a "perfect" RED game.

I agree about Windows 11 being good and smooth with games.

Also, Steam is having their Summer Sale until July 13 at 10AM for those interested.

I'm wavering between getting Diablo 4 or trying to finish Elden Ring. I'm stuck in a spot and am having to farm runes to level up my character stats.

Any Diablo 4 players out there? Is it worth it to get now, or should I just plug along in Elden Ring in your opinion?

I'm almost finished with Diablo IV on Veteran play, and hope to be able to start Nightmare play soon.

Of course, I'm a HUUUUGGGGEEE Diablo fan since the orginal, including playing the D-II:Resurrected for nostalgia, as well as playing the heck out of Diablo:Immortal on Android (well, on PC, technically).

If you like any of the Diablo series, you'll probably like Diablo IV. If you loved Diablo (especially II and / or III) you'll probably love Diablo IV.

For me, though, it is a game I would never have missed. I was a part of the beta test, the open beta and the Server slam. Been playing since day one, nearly every day, until this past week (5-day weekend plus a wedding to go to kinda nixed that daily play lol).

But Elden Ring is a great game in and of itself, also. I, too, got stuck, but I got stuck really early because it's a beast of a game to take on if you've never played anything in the series and aren't used to the machinations of the game. And I hate getting hints lol.

I, too, have been with Diablo since its beginning. I didn't play Diablo: Immortal, though. I'm going to have to look at my budget and how much time I can spend playing a game like Diablo IV, I think. I know they put a steep price on the game, but I'm sure I can swing it when I'm ready to give it a go! Thanks for the review, John.

To be fair, I haven't played Elden Ring in a while. But I knew when D IV was announced it was a day one thing so I pre-ordered the Deluxe Digital Edition, or whatever the hell Blizzard called it.

I have a sneaking suspicion that I'll be playing this and Cyberpunk 2077 (I cannot get away from that game lol) a lot until Starfield makes it out.

Also, didja notice that the release date for D IV was 6 June 2023? aka 6|6|23 --> 6 | 6 | 2*3 --> 6 | 6 | 6?

Well, they also had a second chance at that later on in the month:

23 Jun 23 --> 2*3 | 6 | 2*3 lol. 2 evil days in the same month!

Was gonna pick diablo up but am i f*** paying £70(89$) for a middle version of a game, the ultimate edition is £80 which is 101 dollars. Hell no you can keep it.

Not many games are worth that, but the replayability of all the Diablo series makes them a little easier to swallow at the price. And the graphics are fantastic, full 4K rendering maxed (without DLSS) and averaging over 100 fps on my rig.

If you plan to play occasionally, and not for very long, yeah, it's pricey. But if you're a hardcore fan of the series, and / or know you will play this game for several hundred hours, especially as there is a direct PvP area now, well... it may seem like a better deal.

Of course, as time goes on, the prices will drop, so if you're at all interested, keep an eye out for deals, I wouldn't be surprised to see one right around the time Starfield drops.

I'll never pay for any First Person Shooter game like that, as that is not my genre. RPGs and racing (and Cyberpunk 2077, which, really, is a bit of damned near everything) are the games I like buying at launch time, or else getting access to via subscriptions (XBox for PC Ultimate, EA Play Pro, etc.).
