Windows 11 Pro 25H2 (RP channel)
These keep appearing in the my user Temp folder. It appears to be something related to Facebook but I have no idea how these get here. Usually a few times a day, always in blocks of 3 (sometimes I get 6 or 9 in a row). The blanked out part is my computer name.

It opens as a text file in Notepad.

Windows leaves tons of dust-bunnies around when it does anything.
So do most websites.

What can we do? Who can we call?

Get something like CCleaner, Wise Cleaner, etc., to clean all that junk out.
Or... go insane trying to manually find all the daily, leftover junk, deposited all over Windows. :-)

Likely not even Windows leaving it there. Looks ere like your camera software. And even if it really is Windows doing it, it's the Temp folder, so who cares?

Those seem to be error logs, so maybe that's why your program leaves them there.

Which program though? I've not installed any camera software, only the standard Windows camera app. Camera is a Logitech C920

Even if you find which program, it's not gonna have a setting saying: Don't make any more temp files.
And like I said, it could also be a website doing it.

Unless your AV is flagging it... there's really no reason to worry about it.

I'm not overly worried, I don't use tools like CCleaner or others. I just deleted all the Temp files except the ones that were in use by Windows. As long as it's not a problem I'm not worried. Malwarebytes and Windows Defender don't find anything that shouldn't be there.

Windows (since Windows 10), is pretty good about removing junk files, temp files, etc.
Rebooting should clean them out as well.

Personally, I use CCleaner (v5.78), cause I'm lazy. :-)

In actuality, I don't have that much software installed. I like my Windows... clean and tight.

If you really want to find out what program is creating files/ folders download Sysinternals suite from the MS Store or the main website, it is only around 100Mb in total and includes a lot of powerful tools for monitoring different aspects of your system.
They are written by Microsoft software engineers, past and present and are free and are being updated regularly.
You can use process monitor and set the filter to only show file creation/ deletion and folder creation/ deletion (Explorer processes) and the program will pinpoint the app making the temp files.
What you do with that information afterwards is up to you. :-)

OMG I noticed the same Spark AR today. I want sure what it was! I installed Messenger for Desktop and had it running in the background so therefore it would always be in the temp folder! I uninstalled it and now its no longer in my temp folder. But it will show again if I download Messenger again and select it to run at startup.
