hi guys,

Looks like MPC player is having issues in my system, haven't ran in a while but when I tried to run today, first got "Smart App Control" blocked it.
So, tried running update from codecguide & now I can't run the exe file, says Error 4551: An application control has blocked the file.

Anyone got tips to overcome this mess? Never had any issues with MPC player before.

Whilst you can disable SAC, there's no granular control (whitelist). If disabled, for now, you would e.g. have to reinstall Windows to reenable it. A workaround was posted here:
