Are W10 drivers working properly on W11?

Hi again,

My laptop is an Acer Nitro 5 (AN515-51), which has a i7-7700HQ chipset. This one is not supported officially by W11, so I'm not holding my breath about some driver updates for my laptop.
Were there any reports about how compatible are the W10 drivers with W11? I don't have any issues (I've installed them), except for some IRST update that fails every time I try to do it.

Generally speaking I've found that the Win10 drivers work fine with 11.. but keep in mind there should be updates coming to support 11 some time soon.

Well, the drivers must be working okay for most of us, as we have been playing and testing on 11 for quite a while and most of our hardware doesn't have a dedicated 11 driver.

I "upgraded" my rebuilt desktop PC from Win10 to Win11 yesterday -- and in checking the driver versions, they are the same across both OS versions. So yes, Win10 drivers are working in Win11 without issue -- as are all the Win10 apps.

I have had no driver issues when moving from Win 10 to the Win 11 Insider Program. After doing a clean install from the official Win 11 ISO I found that many drivers were not installed. I did not check if they could be found from a network search but pointed the process to the "driver store" that I had created earlier. All working smoothly.
