Windows 11 Pro
Sorry if this is the wrong thread, but I did not see an Audio thread like the one in Window 10 site.

I'm looking for something I can do to debug my audio issue. It was working well until the other day when I got no sound. I bought a new set of speakers and I have the same issue. I tried several of the miniature phone jack ports, including the one on the front of my tower (Micro-Star International, MS-7B51 running Windows 11 Version 21H2). I also have an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 graphics card. The system audio shows both NVIDIA and Realtek as audio devices, so I don't know which one it uses.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Do you have the speaker in the Notification Area [where the clock is]? If you hover the mouse over it do you get any kind of message? Have you checked in Device Manager for issues with Audio or Sound? I recently saw a problem where none of the audio functions would work on a Notebook and always returned No audio device found, turned out to be a problem requiring motherboard replacement [under warranty].

The NVIDIA driver would be used over your HDMI cable connected to your video card and monitor. The Realtek driver would be used for your speakers/headphones output on your computer.
