Battlefield 2042 Game Sluggishness

When walking in the game or trying to line up shots, feel like a sluggishness type of thing i guess best way to describe it

So far tried updating Video drivers (including using Display driver uninstaller)
discontinued use of my 2.5 Gig USB Adapter and resumed using Built in Ethernet port
Restarted Comcast Gateway Modem
Dust clean out a week ago, using my electric air duster, and my Cordless one ((got as much dust as i could out) i can do another tomorrow if anyone thinks it will help any
Uninstalled Battlefield 2042 and Reinstalled it
Thinking of maybe disabling Core Isolation, but not even sure that will help

**Do have Eco Mode turned on with my EVGA G3 Power supply if that matters--i don't think it does as the power supply is in basement of the case, filter was cleaned a week ago**

Game used to run perfectly fine, i have 1083 Hours in the game, sure my video card isn't quite Recommended 3060, but it ran fine for a long while with the video settings i had set

Other games and programs seem to work fine

Should i just do a Windows 11 Pro Clean install tomorrow? (I got time tomorrow to tackle that)

Late last night suddenly game performed for a bit as normal again, though not sure yet if fully fixed or will all the time, will watch the video soon as fully awake in a few hours

Ok Memory Intergity now off, and Virtual Machine Platform, and Windows HyperVisior Platform

Dism cleanup command lines ran

**Documents Folder is stored on 4TB Storage Drive as i didn't want too many Writes on my M.2 NvME boot Drive, no idea if that slows me down or not in gaming, Game itself is install on Sata SSD, D 1TB Game SSD Drive

Didn't have any slow downs til a bit in 3rd round of game earlier, but of course my motherboard has No VRM heatsinks at all, CPU cooler is Arctic Freezer 7X, do have a Rear exhaust fan, and 3 Maybe Restricted Airflow Front Fans on my Thermaltake V200 TG RGB Case.

Guess til i can afford a case upgrade, and maybe Motherboard, Video card, i'll just have to enjoy the game as best i can for now, and keep PC as cool as i can--do have another fan in a box in my closet, but i can't tell which way on that one air direction goes lol.

Its another Thermaltake TT-1225 fan, high airflow that i tried as Rear exhaust replacement for a while, didn't seem to help much, so went back to standard one that came with case

Originally my CPU Cooler was gonna be Be Quiet Pure Rock 2, but had issues installing it myself, and forgot to take it along to PC shop that built system to see if they'd install it, so settled on the Arctic Freezer 7X

If you are having slow down problem while playing multiplayer game then check your internet speed.

Yeah i checked speed and can check it again prior to playing again

So what happens when you play not online?

smooth as can be if I play single player, secondlife runs great online though

Try Ethernet cable connection see it will help but i think problem not on your side it could be the server you connected to.

System is Ethernet Connected Cat6A Flat Ethernet Cable to make sure it isn't in the way along side the wall of Townhome steps. As Townhome maintenance requires door be able to shut, so i figured well round ethernet cable not gonna work here, so ordered 50 feet of Flat Ethernet cable to reach XB7 Modem

As for BF2042 server choice it doesn't give one, you pick game mode you want--example like Conquest 128 Player, and then it searches for a game, and loads you in

May test system in a bit here with a session of Grand Theft Auto 5 Online and see how that handles as thats another game not given a server choice when connect to Online play. soon as im awake enough

Next Weekend gonna attempt another system dust clean out provided my real life is peaceful and no one in my way of doing it--plan on trying to get the front fans better than last time, dusting the basement cover more, hitting video card better with electric duster, and CPU Fan, and Rear Exhaust, and Power supply.

Eventually would totally like getting a Corasir 4000D Airflow case or Corasir 5000D Airflow either one will totally be better than this Thermaltake V200TG RGB in terms of Air Intake, and in general cleaning as i know those cases feature front filters, psu filter that is better accessible than this one is, and top filter if have front fans there as well

Updated: Played 3 Rounds starting at 11PM til 1:30am, it was back to normal performance that i used to have, no sign of any sluggish running or slowdowns at all.

Not sure if the server was finally rebooting or what

if it performs like that everyday happy once again!

and now time for bed in a nice happy mood lol
