How often should this safe boot method be performed?
And once weekly from 100 to 20 is good enough?

Thanks.
That is a question for others, I don’t employ that method and was just clarifying your questions

Open Settings (Win+I) Go to System -> Recovery and click "Restart now" in the Advanced Startup section... when the system boots, click Advanced (I think, I can't test it right now) but you should find the "Safe Mode" option in there somewhere.

You should have mouse control on that screen, just click it... if you don't have mouse control, you can use the Tab key to cycle through the options and press enter when you're on the one you want.

For some clarification, when run normally, Windows will shutdown or hibernate when it thinks that the battery has reached the critical level.

Running in safe mode is different. It will simply run until the hardware decides it is at zero percent and will simply abruptly lose power. That's exactly what we want so we are not relying on what windows thinks. It's purely up to the hardware to cut power when the battery reaches the level that the hardware considers to be zero percent.

Thanks @hsehestedt , I agree. But am unable to click on option 4 i.e. safe mode. Neither the 4 or F4 key or the mouse can hover and click on it.

Thanks for all your expert assistance. Driver I doubt, since enter, esc, power function.

Just can't highlight the 4th option.

Thanks again!:)
