Looking for BIOS recovery download for a HP computer 15-dr1008CA. Windows 10 when bot now running Windows 11. HP site shows Windows 10 and cannot find Windows 11. Will the Windows 10 version still work?

Windows defender
Bios updates chip on motherboard. It is not OS specific. Just make sures you got the new bios update from the OEM specifically for your model. I believe with HP, they give it to you by the serial number of the device.

I'd expect so. But the only thing I see there seems to be a BIOS updater. I see nothing in the user guide about BIOS recovery.

This implies the BIOS is corrupted so surely the device will not be able boot at all in order to be able to recover it?
You cannot do anything if the BIOS is corrupt.
Or have I misunderstood?

He has not responded since the OP and that was not clear what his problem was but he did say it was running so I'm guessing it's just an update but then again, how does he know he needs an update and not know that the Win-10 app will work with Win-11.

Basically his only question of "Will the Windows 10 version still work?" only needs a YES or NO answer.

    The only thing it lack is USB-3.2 on the front face but it has 3.0 on the back
