Hi,
yesterday I had two Windows updates (KB5016629 and KB5012170) and this morning I experienced a black screen after the display turned off because of inactivity time (the laptop never goes to sleep) and didn't come back on. No mouse movement or key stroke worked, I had to reset the computer and the screen came on again. So I checked the event viewer and this was the Application Error:

Maybe somebody else had this problem and maybe there is already a fix for it.
Thanks

Thanks for your quick reply. Sfc and DISM I did already and everything was fine (since quite a while I run sfc after every windows update :-)) - and a couple days ago I upgraded both graphic drivers, Intel and NVidia. Maybe (hopefully) the black screen was just a "one time event" anyway, time will tell. I'll post again, when it goes on.

This morning I had to reset the whole system again with the power button, when I came back to the computer after about 45 min. I also want to mention, that I'm using an external monitor (Dell P2419H). Now I changed the power settings "turn off my screen" to never and see how it goes on. "On battery power put my device to sleep" always was set to "never".
