Black screen in Windows Security Center

The song remains the same, BlueRobot. I ran the script and rebooted.

Well, thanks for all of your help, BlueRobot. I really do appreciate it. I was hoping to avoid the
In-Place Upgrade because I just got things situated like getting rid of bloatware, especially that
damn OneDrive and dealing with the 23H2 upgrade. I guess I'll be reinstalling it then.

Seeing that you're going to try a repair install anyway download 'Everything' from Voidtools Link Here

Search for McAfee and delete all you find for it. Most probably the list will be as long as your arm. You'll have to take ownership of some files. Try that and rebooting. It fixed an issue for me in Defender after removing McAfee but I can't find the thread now. Worth a go before a repair install and even that is no guarantee to fixing Defender. :( Good luck,

Thanks for the info, Fabler. I will be sure to try Voidtools. You're right about reinstalling being no
guarantee that it will fix Windows Security. These damn "confusers" can be such an enigma sometimes!

You could try and create an .iso for your build number, there should be some tutorials around UUPDump on this forum.
