I've been happy with an 820 for quite a while.

If you buy one, make sure that it is updated to the latest firmware. It fixes playability issues with some UHD disks.

Got yesterday and it's updated the firmware. From watching a Blu-Ray last night, I was blown away with all the functions. I paticually like the network play.

I’m finding the sound bar a pain, to setup with my Panasonic DP-UB820EB-K Ultra HD Blu-Ray Player.

if I put a blu ray on it as no sound on hdmi 2 unless I switch it from 2 to either 1 or 3 and back to 2. The sound bar is connected to my TV via optical cable with my sky on hdmi 1 and the blu ray on hdmi 2.
