OS
Windows 11
Received the blue box “Boot Device Not Found…” It has happened previously. Typically, a forced shutdown and reboot fixes the problem. Yesterday the blue box error message appeared again. The F2 diagnostics seemed to be fine. Upon a forced shutdown and reboot, no luck with rebooting. The screen remained blank. Various attempts were made to access the bios (e.g., reboot – tap F2, F8, F9, F10, Esc, etc. and press and hold Win Key+Cntl+B upon start up, forced shutdown several times, hold button for various amounts of time, and various other combinations, but to no avail. Any thoughts or advice?

You "probably" have a M.2 2Tb main drive for Windows "C" and a secondary SSD 1Tb storage drive.
So follow "Freebooters" advice video and see how you get on.
You have a UEFI M.2 drive so no MBR !
Try checking and reseting your sata cables.

Thank you. I tried the reboot steps that FreeBooter suggested, but the computer still will not boot and the screen remains completely blank. The power light comes on and the fans work, but still nothing on the screen. I even tried plugging the monitor into the original HDMI slot (not using the graphics card), but that did not work.

I also watched the HP video yesterday and removed the hard drive cables and reconnected them. I also tried replacing the bios battery in an effort to reset things, but still a blank screen.

Have you tried removing the new graphics card altogether and just use the HDMI output from the onboard port?

Ok remove the power cable from the PC and press the power on switch a few times, then reconnect power cable and try turning on,
While only using on board graphics port.

disconnect the drive from the motherboard and see if the pc is able to post to the bios. the drive might have been failing which was why you would get missing boot device sometimes, until it finally failed.

Removed power cable, pressed the power on switch a few times, and then reconnected power cable and tried turning it on with the on board graphics port only, and then with the graphics card insert only. Still nothing. Blank screen.

Are you seeing the bios post screens? Try to keep just on board graphics while testing.

Does it matter if the drive cable is unplugged from the motherboard or can it be from just just the drive itself?
