Boot USB

OK have been having issues with my windows 11 start up and the system will not let me restore my HD or repair the boot up files so wants to see what I need in order to create a windows start USB that way I can have clean start up files without the crashes.

So when I see videos that refer to Windows 11 Installation USB is this what I will need to put on the USB to let me boot into windows or is this an installation USB that installs windows 11 as I don't need to install windows I merely need to get into windows without the headaches of the crashes.

I just don't have the funds at the moment to repair or replace this laptop and it's no longer under warranty.

So will a Windows 11 Installation USB let me boot up into Windows without reinstalling Windows as I just need to get into the system not install it.

well have tried the normal command prompt scans and repairs with no luck. I have also scanned my systems hardware from the boot menus and such and nothing came back having failed and have tried the system restore and start up repairs and no good.

I think what I need to know is if I do make a boot up disk will it let me boot into windows via the USB there by by-passing the hard drives boot files which perhaps might be corrupted in some way causing the crashes.

I know I have searched the issue and seems I am not alone in this as have seen others that seem to have gotten into an issue with these blue screen loops during start up (Note the blue scan recently changed as now I get a black screen white text but same thing says an issue occurred and needs to restart.

Being the system runs fine once booted am not looking to really fix this issue being as you said it gets complicated and if it is hardware then possibly expensive and just do not have the cash to go that route. Being I had this on my last laptop (HP) and now on this one (Dell) I have to think it's software rather then hardware as what are the odds 2 different makes of laptop will have the same exact issues 3 times as the Dell they did sort out the first time as it was under warranty then but is no longer) It's hard to think it's hardware related being 2 different makes of computers

Not that I am aware of. You can install windows ,repair windows, and use command line commands offline using a windows installation boot drive but not enter the interface of Windows itself.
You have not filled out your computer specs in your forum profile so we have absolutely no information to work with nor have you give any description of these "crashes". If your computer blue or black screens when you boot up, there should be an error or description of the error displayed. What is it?

Actually just posted about a new issue that occurred during shut down last night which made this a whole lot worse

Update messed up my start files

Boot from Windows 11 Installation Media:

1. Insert the Media (DVD/USB) in your PC and restart.
2. Boot from the media.
3. Select Repair Your Computer.

Select Troubleshoot.

1. Choose Command Prompt from the menu:

Type in the command:
Diskpart

Type in the command:
List disk (Note which disk is your Boot drive number mine is 0)

Type in the command:
Sel disk 0

Type in the command:
List vol (Note which volume is the EFI partition mine is 4, usually 100MB - 500MB partition without assigned letter) (Also note which volume is your OS - Should be C: but could be something else)

Type in the command:
Sel vol 4

Type in the command:
assign letter=V:

Type in the command:
Exit

Type in the command:
V:

After you have assigned a drive letter Using Diskpart You can format the EFI partition:
Example: if you assigned a letter V to the partition the command would be:

format V: /FS:FAT32

Type in the command:
bcdboot C:\windows /s V: /f UEFI
(Where C:\ is your volume with Windows)

After that reboot pc.

Let us know if this work. In most cases this fixed any UEFI BCD issues for me.
