Solved Cannot search in Start

I went to search for an application. I opened Start and clicked in the search box. The moment I touch any key the Start menyu closes back to desktop. So far the only thing that seemed to fix it was rebooting the machine.

Is this a known glitch or something more sinister?

I have tried all fixes, but "Search" is still broken. It started after update "KB5066835" was installed.
