This is more of a trivial matter, though I wouldn't mind knowing how to solve this problem.
Basically, when I open the network window, there will be no computers shown. The picture is what I mean:

I'll see no other computers, although if I just type out the name along with the necessary backslashes, I can access the computer's folders.
Is there a way for my computer to see other computer in the network? I've tried setting a private network, I've verified that network discovery and file and print sharing are checked.
Is there anything else I haven't tried?
