Canon MG 2500 kaput?

Prints out gibberish -- looked on DM for driver update and said best one installed. It was working fine until that mess -- any thoughts? Thanks.

My Canon printers produce results that took like that whenever they have an ink cartridge that is bad or nearly empty without producing its 'warning'. As well, I have had that also happen when a print head is dirty or worn. Print heads are removable and replaceable. New ones are not very expensive; however, if not worn can also be cleaned. Look on YouTube for methods.
