Can't install Twain scanner

Hi, I have a brother printer/scanner MFC-L2710DW, I downloaded the printer and scanner USB driver only (I want to avoid the big package that send adds all the time.)
While my computer is far from my scanner (Not plugged with USB together), the printer work fine.
But the TWAIN driver is not showing up in the app FILE CENTER that I use to scan documents.
