My new DELL desk top KEYBOARD does not give me a indecation if CAPS or NUM lock is on like the old KEYBOARD with a light

they told me to do this but when i open settings theres no ease of access
any help appreicate

this did not work work see below

Open Settings → Ease of Access → KeyboardScroll down to "Use Toggle Keys" and turn on "Show the Caps Lock status on the screen

Those indicators don’t stay on the desktop (as far as I know) they only show briefly when you press the key. So if you’re not watching when it pops up, you’ll miss it.

This is the setting you need now, Accessibility. They no longer have ease of access. Select the switch Toggle Keys

Correct, they show for about 2 seconds.

I’d suggest buying a keyboard with lights. I think you can get one that makes coffee.

If you still have your old keyboard you can use that on your new computer.

Now that's something I would definitely buy. I drink a lot of coffee. Thinking more about it, I could use a keyboard that makes my coffee during the day but also keeps my beer cold at night. ;-)
