Solved Change the default folder icons

Hey guys!

I need (Windows 11 Pro):

1) Change the default icon of all folders on my PC (including those I will create in the future).

2) Change the default icons of the Desktop folder (C:\Users\MyName\Desktop). It does not have a Customize tab in the properties.

Any ideas? Thank you!

Those are stored in imageres.dll.mun and shell32.dll.mun files in C:\Windows\SystemResources. Open them with Resource Hacker (or some other similar tool) and edit the image resources inside them. You'll have to "Save As" to some folder you own, then move those files back to SystemResources and replace the default system ones. Obviously be careful since you're messing with system files here. Tho if done correctly it is fine. Here's mine.
