Hi, I changed my name recently and wanted to change my user folder name to reflect that. I did so using the following guide:
I am on Windows 11. I did make a system restore point before doing this, so in case my only option is to restore then I can do so, but I'd rather not.
Anyway, whenever I try and sign back into my account, it just says "Preparing Windows" for about 10 minutes and then loads into a windows desktop with a completely empty taskbar (no start button, no apps, nothing. Can't access settings or windows start menu). Anyone have solutions? I did follow the above guide to the letter. Many thanks :)
