Cloning an activated SSD—what could go wrong?

So, I purchased several Windows 11 Pro licenses. In order to save time installing Windows on several PCs, which were purchased bare bones, I cloned the first completely installed and activated system to the other SSDs. All of those computers now show as activated, in Settings → System → Activation. I have not updated any of them with their own installation codes.

How could that come back to bite me?

To keep in line with the MS license i would change the keys on the other computers with the keys you purchased for them.

It's very easy to change the keys, so I'd take the previous advice and simply activate them with the proper key.

The correct process, in the future, is to sysprep and generalize before cloning systems. This clears out the system's activation status.
