Hey guys.
As we know UUPDump convertconfig.ini gives us some customizations but they are not enough for me!

We create an install.wim and then we use some tools like msmg or ntlite to delete some features on demands (FOD). Why we create something and then delete some parts of it? As you can see in UUPs folder created by UUPDump downloader batch, there are plenty of FODs which converter batch file uses them to create the install.wim
If you choose “skipedge” this converter batch file will ignore edge FOD.

How can I prevent some FODs to be integrated in install.wim instead of integrate them and then uninstall with third party apps?

The reason I’m doing this is that after adding the FOD to install.wim, it creates additional services and tasks and files which uninstalling that FOD cannot clear all of them.
e.g. defender or edge FOD will create plenty of tasks, even uninstalling those FODs will not clear their tasks and services. This will cause errors and bugs. But if we can find a way to create a core OS without unnecessary FODs we can solve those errors.

Thanks.

You don't. Create the image, and debloat afterwards.
Skipping UWP apps, Edge and Defender isn't in the same category as skipping Windows features.

I'm not going to undersell this point: unless you want to invest a whole lot of time learning about the undocumented Windows servicing internals, any explanation why this isn't supported won't make sense. It's a seriously deep technical dive.

Just be grateful UUP dump's maintainers provided you with what they've done.

NTLite for sure!
MSMG is not supporting 24H2.
Tiny11builder-24H2 is also a good script to debloat.

Alright. So there is no way better than debloating after creating for me. Thanks garlin.

Topic marked as solved.
