Solved Dark vignette/border around the screen

This seems to happen randomly, for no particular reason I can think of. I can't show you it in screenshots, the problem is on a different level.
It really likes to show when the screen is grey or black or generally darker. It doesn't really show when it's white.
Also, you can't see it but it seems to lower the quality ever so slightly where the border is and/or make the pixels "striped" so you can notice it even when you're normal sitting distance away.

To my way of thinking, that 'bleed' is a monitor issue, not a Windows or graphics card issue. Probably a sign it is failing and it will probably get worse.

I guess that makes sense, because shortly after I posted this, the border slowly faded away. Looks like I'm gonna need a new monitor.
