There are DCOM errors appeared recently in my event viewer
The server {6FA05A24-B1DF-4155-909E-7B424F2D2BB5} did not register with DCOM within the required timeout.
The server {5CA9C941-68D9-5462-B0F5-C850C0361A39} did not register with DCOM within the required timeout.
These errors are related to windows widgets board/service after searching them via regedit.
These errors were shown very rarely especially after an update.. Now I am having them at every restart/shutdown...cleaning windows and explorer cache did not help...nor flushing dns etc...The only thing that worked was uninstalling widgets via SHAWN'S cmd command....
But i reinstalled them back and unchecked every option in widget settings...the only exe that run now are widgetboard and widgetservice...but how to fix the dcom 10010 event id error?

I suggest you simply ignore it. Many DCOM errors are should really be informational and not treated as errors. If you're not having any operational problems, you're on a snipe hunt.

Thank you Sir...I cannot understand why these DCOM errors appeared all of a sudden the last 2 weeks (I think due to the latest windows web experience pack update)...only by running uninstall widget command fixes it... but as I read via internet, windows web experience pack is not recommended to uninstall it...so the only exe files appeared in task manager now are the widgetboard.exe and widgetservice.exe as well...I also tried to reset xbox, game bar, ms store, cleared cache and the last thing to do is uninstall-reinstall my nvidia drivers via ddu... Ok i will ignore it, but if you know something to help me, please inform me...

Here's what Google AI says about DCOM errors, and this is how I've always treated them...

"DCOM errors in the Event Viewer often involve Event ID 10016, indicating that a component attempted to access DCOM without the required permissions. These errors are frequently logged by Microsoft components and are often harmless, resulting from expected behavior or benign issues like a timeout. However, if experiencing system instability or application failures, further investigation may be warranted. "

Many of the errors that show up in event viewer are benign. I generally take the approach that I don't go looking for problems.

Here's a typical log from one of my systems. Note that in one day there can be 15-20 errors in a day. The one critical error is when the system actually stopped responding, the only one I'm still trying to track down. It's something to do with screen blanking as it only happens when the system tries to wake up from sleep, but only about once every 20 times.

Hello! Do you know why after the previous web experience pack update there is always at shutdown a DCOM 10010 error regarding microsoft widgets platform runtime? The server {6FA05A24-B1DF-4155-909E-7B424F2D2BB5} did not register with DCOM within the required timeout. Widgets option is toggled off in windows taskbar and lock screen settings and I have also unchecked every option inside widgets app (hover, notifications, start feed are turned off)....The only services that run are widgetsservice.exe and widgetboard.exe in task manager...
the only safe thing that fixed this latest appeared bug is the uninstallation of the web experience pack...But why? Will reset fix it or not?
