Dell Inspiron 3880 sporadically loses internet connection

I see this is a repeat issue. Has anyone found a univeral solution to the problem that would help with this issue. We have added Wifi connectivity boosters and the problem still exists. It's like I spend a lot of time watching "circles go round" - reminds me a lof of dial up connectivity. Why pay extra for faster speed from Verizon if the computer slows it down?

May not be this but one cause of speed problems is Smartbyte which Dell installs, common problem on the Dell forums, fix is get rid of it. I removed it on my 3881, serves no useful purpose anyway and getting rid of speeded things up to normal.

You might want to update your drivers. There are quite a few recent updates , many marked urgent. If you have Dell command/update or support assist on your PC Dell can scan and update them for you. It fixed it for another Dell user.
