Old laptop was a dell xps 15 9550. It uses a barrel for charging the laptop that came with it. I also bought 2 PW7015L barrel powerbanks a while back to use with it a while back and it worked fine. I had to then buy a new laptop, a dell xps 15 9520. This laptop uses a usb c for charging the laptop. So because of that, I couldn't use my 2 PW7015L barrel powerbanks with it because my laptop uses usb-c.

I did read if you buy the dell adapter below, you can then use the old 2 PW7015L barrel powerbanks with the xps 9520 laptop that uses usb-c. The issue was at the time, this barrel to usb adapter was not available on dell website. So because of that, I purchased a Dell PW7018LC powerbank for the xps 9520 since it uses usb-c. I can use this powerbank with the xps 9520.

My question is if I buy the dell barrel to usb c adapter above... I know I would be able to use my old 2 PW7015L barrel powerbanks with the xps 9520. The issue however is would I be able to charge the old PW7015L barrel powerbanks with my xps 9520 laptop charger or not? I read people buy this barrel to usb adapter because they want to continue using their old laptop barrel charger as oppose to the new usb c charger that they are using with their new laptop that uses usb-c for charging. So with this barrel to usb adapter, does that mean I don't need to use the old xps 9550 laptop barrel charger anymore?

I ask this because when I travel, I bring my xps 9520 and the usb-c laptop charger that comes with it. Then I also bring the PW7018LC usb c powerbank that I bought. So I only have 1 powerbank with me. So if I get this barrel to usb adapter from the link above, can I just bring that as an additional item along with my 2 old PW7015L powerbanks and that way, I would have 2 powerbanks with me? I would leave the usb c PW7018LC powerbank at home. Or do I still need to bring the old dell xps 9550 laptop barrel charger with me to charge the barrel PW7015L powerbanks? I know if I carry that and not the usb-c laptop charger that comes with my xps 9520, that would work since I read people do that but I don't want to bring that old barrel laptop charger that comes with the older laptop and want to use the usb-c laptop charger that came with the xps 9520.

This is a reply from the bleeping computer site, it’s a fair observation as you seem to be a serial time waster, many threads that are pretty much repeating other threads. Replying to answers given to you by rephrasing and asking the same original questions that have already been answered.

You've already been given the answer, are you not paying attention or are you not capable of that? This is an ongoing problem with you, but I don't know if it is something you have control of or not?
