Solved Devices

Hello, Recently purchased a new laptop ,however when I go to accounts I find both of my old PC's still showing as linked devices.
One of them (an Asus A540 ) has been destroyed, the other (a Toshiba Satellite C660) is no longer in use.
I have tried removing them but when I get to removal option only my current PC(an HP 15 s) is shown.
I have changed my password as instructed in a online tutorial to sign out any all devices, but no change.
Any Ideas?

Have you tried logging out of your MS Account then logging back in or even restarting your new laptop? I'm not saying it will work but If you haven't, it's worth a try.

Edit: Forgot to mention that having a device listed in your MS account only matters if you go over the limit of devices allowed to install MS Store apps.

Having a device listed, and having a device linked to the Store are not the same thing. I have 14 devices, but only 5 of them are linked to the Store.

Rayal, have you tried unlinking the devices from the Store first? Perhaps being linked to the Store is what's making the persist?

How are you accessing the Microsoft Account? I'm logged into my account and it looks totally different. I have the options to register a device, remove a device and find my device.

On the Devices page, scroll down. Below the list of devices you'll find 'Microsoft Store device management'. Click on 'Manage' to go to the screen shown in my 2nd screenshot from post #7.
