Don't know that anyone else will ever have this issue and I don't understand the cause. I bought a spare SSD and an NVMe enclosure for it. I had created an image of the original SSD and installed it on the spare SSD originally. When I plugged the enclosure into the PC, File Explorer would not recognize the SSD even though the USB showed on the taskbar. Took the enclosure to a Windows 10 PC and it read it with no problem. Went back to the Windows 11 PC and plugged it in and then used Partition Wizard and it saw the SSD. Loaded Macrium Reflect and it saw the SSD, so I cloned C: and when it finished, it popped up in File Explorer.
One thing that I had that cannot be test is that I use the registry method to restore the old File explorer (Restore Classic File Explorer), but everything is fine now.
