Please check the video, it used to always show the icon only when I hove over any open window, now it's showing the preview, as if the tweak is not working

double click to edit that DWORD, click "Decimal" (not Hexadecimal) and set the value to

it does work to delay the previews. see my post above. tested on 24h2 26100.1742
it DOES NOT disable them though

I tried every possible method I found online, but only two solutions worked on Windows 24H2:
– StartAllBack: Set Taskbar > Visual Style > Plain8
– Windhawk: used a module to disable taskbar thumbnail previews


Finally got rid of those annoying hover previews.

That does not work for me in Win11 Pro 24H2 27100.3775 (even after restarting Windows Explorer). I still see taskbar thumbnails that update in real time.

Are you sure about that Build number of your Version 24H2? Mine is 26100.3775 on a few machines.
