I did this reg tweak which has always worked before, but now I still see taskbar thumbnails

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced]
"ExtendedUIHoverTime"=dword:0001d8a8

Any ideas?

Would you kindly do a screenshot [Snipping Tool] of that situation? My Taskbars only show the icons for programs' executables I've pinned to it.

Please check the video, it used to always show the icon only when I hove over any open window, now it's showing the preview, as if the tweak is not working

I tried every possible method I found online, but only two solutions worked on Windows 24H2:
StartAllBack: Set Taskbar > Visual Style > Plain8
Windhawk: used a module to disable taskbar thumbnail previews

Finally got rid of those annoying hover previews.

That does not work for me in Win11 Pro 24H2 27100.3775 (even after restarting Windows Explorer). I still see taskbar thumbnails that update in real time.

Are you sure about that Build number of your Version 24H2? Mine is 26100.3775 on a few machines.
