Solved Disk errors in event viewer + freezing of computer for a few seconds

Just wondering, does an F3 reset turn my drivers and/or bios back to the version it was when I got it? Meaning would I need to reinstall the updated ones?

Another short freeze about 9 minutes after boot, although this one was a lot shorter (not too sure how long honestly I am at school and I looked away and my computer froze for a bit, but definitely shorter than the 30-40 seconds yesterday) and a lot less disk errors popped up. I am currently on battery as well

Before each crash there is always a,
"Reset to device, \Device\RaidPort0, was issued."

should I be trying a few of these methods listed here before doing a f3 reset? or is it just best to see if the factory reset fixes things first?

Specifically method 4 and 5, and maybe if needed like Scannerman said I can try the AHCI...

I've gone ahead and disabled link state power management at the very least but I am unsure if I should be editing that Regedit value because I'm not sure if AHCI settings would apply here... It's worth a shot but I'm not sure

With all those errors I would consider a factory reset. After updating the OS I would also do that firmware update. You have bigger issues here than mere Bluetooth conflicts. Once again, I don't know why your laptop is supposedly running RAID. IF you have no intentions of running RAID change that setting in your BIOS before you reset and then check to see if you're still on AHCI after reboot. Myself, I would never bother to run RAID on a laptop. Once you have confirmed that you're still on AHCI do the factory reset and see what happens. Something fishy here.
In Windows, AHCI shows up as "RAID". That happens to me, too. So, Windows mentioning "RAID", isn't suspicious.
It's the hangs and retries that make me think a faulty SSD or motherboard, whether it's the drive connector on the motherboard or another internal fault.

What matters is what the BIOS says. I'm very curious what the BIOS will say after a factory reset and if it were my lap top I'd set it to AHCI before I did the factory reset just to see if that was in fact the original configuration from the factory which is very likely the case. That said MSI does some funky stuff some times so . . .

I would imagine it has been set to RAID from the start solely because I have never touched the disk settings and honestly had no idea there was a difference between RAID and AHCI in the first place...

But if the power plan edits don't end up working ill do the reset and let you know what it ends up being just for your curiosity 🤗

The warning is always the same event and it always applies to your disk drive. I'm sort of hoping you're not actually running a disk drive in that unit. At any rate you are encountering a drive issue. Previously the system was reporting an issue with RAID. That is what got my attention. Normally you would not need RAID on a lap top. I also recall reading something about IRST which Intel normally reserves for NUC devices these days although it can still be used on older PCs. Since you are not the original owner of this laptop I would venture that a factory reset is in order. Until you do this I am declining from offering you any further assistance in this matter.

Gave Dell touch screen with Windows 11 to daughter and got me an OTVOC. Being a PC builder I own many desktop PCs as well. I am a father of five providing PCs, laptops, and tablets for all my family, most of which I have modified, rebuilt, or simply built from scratch. I do not own a cell phone, never have, never will.
Since you are not the original owner of this laptop I would venture that a factory reset is in order. Until you do this I am declining from offering you any further assistance in this matter.
Okay gotcha, sorry if I seem a bit stubborn 😭. I'll see when I will be able to do that reset! It might be in a week or so time but I will update you regardless!

I got my laptop around ~ November 2023, this is my first laptop ever
Lacks much, if any, experience in opening up the back of it or whatnot
I just want to add that recently I did do a bios reset and update which did bring bios back to the default settings, so I am leaning towards it being RAID by default because I did get this laptop brand new (although bought for me) and have done a factory reset a little under a year ago without touching any settings like this.

However, I will still let you know when I do the reset!

I also want to apologise if it seems like I'm asking for advice and then ignoring a good chunk of what anyone mentions... it's just me mostly wondering if there is anything else I can do other than a reset but I'm not too sure why that is?? I don't mean to come off as rude or as if I dont appreciate the help though at all

I'll send these over the next time a freeze happens, but I don't believe it is any BSODs but more of freezing
