Good Morning! This is my first post on this forum, hopefully I manage to give you all necessary information.
A few weeks ago my Laptop started getting random bluescreens; it was annoying but happened only every other day so I didn't take any action really. After a windows update the problem got better, but wasn't resolved. Then, yesterday, I noticed that I can't open windows defender; even Microsoft word didn't open.
After several failed attempts to repair windows, I decided to do a complete factory reset. But that didn't work either (it started but then said it was undoing all changes).
Long story short: I ran the DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth command; after that failed, I tried it with a windows image (install.wim) as source. As far as I can tell, a lot of stuff was fixed, but I still got a repair failure for some parts; the CBS log says "CSI Payload Corrupt" / "Repair failed: Missing replacement payload.:
The full CBS Log can be found here: Dropbox-Link
I now have two questions:
Thank you for your help, I really appreciate it! If I forgot anything, let me know so I can do better in the future.
Best,
Markus

I now have two questions:
- Some things have been fixed apparently; are the remaining repair failures a problem? Of course, ideally I would like to have none.
- Microsoft word seems to work again; windows Defender still won't open. Can this be connected to those repair failures, or are those unrelated issues?
Thank you for your help, I really appreciate it! If I forgot anything, let me know so I can do better in the future.
Best,
Markus
