Note in my case restorehealth broke the PC. ChatGPT explained to me this command is not always reliable if used !!!

24H2 apparently has a bug where it may be only be successful when ran once and if ran again in the future, then it fails. 23H2 and 22H2 didn't have this bug!

Did CBS on 24H2 write gibberish to install.wim on my June installation?! This is why I have a brand new install this month, on July 8th.

Also, on my daily-driver, Windows Update unexpectedly had an error code for the cumulative update! Like it's the bad old days of Windows 7!

This was the worst patch-Tuesday that I saw in a long time!

You can download an ISO image that matches your current Windows build and run DISM pointing to that image instead of to the on-line version.
