On Windows 11 Pro 26200.9445, DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth ran to 100% with no error, but it took about two hours; can anyone confirm or was this just because it found no errors?

Last time I ran it (before installing the September updates), it took 35 minutes.

Completed successfully.

Most of that was Windows Update downloading files it thought DISM might need.

I had the dism issue and /scanhealth is working again. Fast. No reason for me to do restorehealth so can't say.
There have been issues where restorehealth, sfc etc. have worked very slowly, but return to normal after a reboot.

I ran DISM... RestoreHealth about 2 weeks ago, and it took almost 45 minutes.
From 60 to 70% was the worst part.

I only posted because, for many members, DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth was failing with:-

"Error: 0x800f0915 The repair content could not be found anywhere", even when pointed to as ISO.

I think MS have fixed it with the latest build.

Mine takes about an hour and a half to sometimes 2 hourrs.I think maybe it's because I have a HDD and a 2017 i5 Intel core. Meed to get a SDD one day.

It's working on all but one machine, the same one that's been giving me the errors since June. I'm downloading the latest Update now that just hit WU, I'll see if they've fixed it in this new release.

It does that for me as well, but after you reboot and do the same ScanHealth and RestoreHealth, you'll see the same old 0x800f0915 error. RestoreHealth for the first pass hangs for a long time at 100% and finally completes looking like everything worked. However, that is apparently not the case because after a reboot and running ScanHealth again, you'll see the same "The component store is repairable." and then the RestoreHealth will toss the error.

I ran it on three machines after booting them up and RestoreHealth completed on all three after ScanHealth showed repairable. ScanHealth continues to show repairable afterwards but RestoreHealth continues to complete without error. Just rebooted one again and got the same ScanHealth is repairable but testing RestoreHealth again now. It'll be a bit though lol.

Edit: RestoreHealth still completes without error even after rebooting. Course this could all change again after the next update of my builds. Only time will tell. 😉

I have given up, mine refuses to work or complete sucessfully. gets to about 60% and then sits forever, and then the same error. I am way too old to worry about this any longer.

Go to Task Manager>Startup Apps and disable all non Microsoft Apps from autostarting.
Power off shutdown and restart.
Does Restorehealth move along in a shorter time?

That used to be so butvnoevit runs for hours and then said it succeeded.
