Select Terminal [admin ] and type in and run ---dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth ---note the space before /.
When completed, type in and run ---sfc /scannow ---and run it until a clean report is given.
Does the problem still exist?

Do you have any add-ons installed in your web browsers? If so try disabling one at a time and test to see if it fixes the problem. If it does then you have found the culprit.

this has been happening for a while
Can you think back and try to remember if you did something just before the problem started that may have caused it.

Are your graphics drivers up to date?

Is 'Hardware acceleration' enabled in your browsers?

Also have you Enabled 'Play DRM-Controlled (DRM) Content' in your web browsers?

Sorry, I am out of ideas to suggest so I hope someone else may be able to help you.

Except trying to update windows, or is it up to date already? That's it I'm afraid. Good luck.

Uninstall Brave and only use Edge to see if the problem persists.
Could you confirm the problem only exists using a browser ?
