does not display task manager or any files you open including settings, it shows apen on taskbar, you can hover over it, but when you click on it it shows nothing on the desktop and desktop shows no shortucts or anything

I do not understand what you are trying to say. Please explain. Press WIN+R, type cmd, press enter. Then type sfc /scannow and press enter. Tell us the response.
