@NavyLCDR , I believe you have some past experience with NTLite, could I uninstall Windows apps (that @Ghot ,recommends using Revo for them) using it on a live system? OR do I need to do a remove them on an iso and than clean install?

I don't use NLite. And REVO cleans up after itself.
When you uninstall something, it will offer to scan for leftovers.
If you intend to play with REVO... make a fresh backup first.
If you intend to alter Windows at all... make a backup.

But this is just a brute force method. There are other things you can do without removing most of the Apps.
For example you can turn off or disable a bunch of things in Settings.

There is lots of memory on your PC so no need to so concerned about the memory usage.

My laptop runs fine with 8GB with lots of active tabs in FF, a few tabs in Edge, plus other apps, see TM snip below:

Excellent. how much memory of the 8 GB is in use in the TM snip.....show 82%, but in terms approx. 6?

I feel my 2 yrs old Android is way faster, responsive with 6 gigs of memory vs this laptop running W11...…..

Why do I see One Drive icon, in This PC under Home? Empty when clicked, and One Drive is disabled?

Hi @Ghot , you removed all Windows apps showing in Revo, except Microsoft family and Clip champ video editor....correct?

Queries:

1. Why did you leave these 2, any dependencies?
2. What did you replace for apps like Notepad?
3. Doesn't Windows security comes back after an update?
4. Lastly you left widgets, weather, Xbox, Edge etc....correct?

Just saw your updated post, would make a plan about which to remove after your reply, creating a full back up and when am done with new covid patients.

Hoping to hear your expert comments.

No... I removed everything BUT what is on that list.Family and ClipChamp are removed as well.

Don't really need Paint 3D but I kept it anyhow.
The rest of the stuff in that pic you NEED, well except for the Bitdefender item.

I can't really do that.
You need to keep your audio and video things. You need to keep the media extensions.
But the rest is personal choice. I know the things I don't need or want.
I wouldn't remove the things I didn't remove, and I wouldn't remove... Thunderbolt, Intel Graphics command center.
Probably keep Maxx Audio, but I don't know what that is. Camera... I guess on a laptop keep it. for your desktop, I don't know.
I guess you should keep Support Assistant and Dell Update on DELL computers.
That Microsoft Edge is the old EDGE. The new EDGE is on the Uninstaller list in REVO.
If you use Voice Recorder... keep that.

The rest is pretty much personal. I don't need MS doing my weather. I go to weather.com for that.
I don't need any of the Xbox stuff, cause I don't have an Xbox.
You can Google and then decide if you want most of the other things.

IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII didn't need any of the other stuff, cause I don't use it.

Like I said yesterday... there are other ways to lower RAM usage.
Like Task Manager and Task Scheduler.

There is nothing wrong with your RAM consumption, you're running a Chromium based browser which is always going to be more resource intensive than Firefox. Unless, you're thrashing your disk - which you aren't - there is no reason to worry. I feel too many members are pedantic about this and then begin offering advice which only leads to confusion.

I don't use any special uninstaller programs. I just uninstall unwanted bloatware from these two places:



After a clean install, it only takes me a couple of minutes to right click on what I don't want and click on Uninstall.
