Solved Drivers for Logitech speakers Z323

Their website doesnt list them anymore.
Windows 11 cant find the speakers
May be able to use Realtek as substitute. listed in device manager but speakers are not found in Settings and still dont work.

Any help appreciated

I don’t see anything listed in the user install manual about needing drivers. Possibly another Windows setting?

Do you currently have a Realtek Audio device app or driver installed?

You don't need drivers for speakers, but you need them for your Realtek sound card.
Have a look in Device Manager to see if anything is amiss. Especially under sound, video and game controllers.

The Z323 requires no special drivers. https://www.logitech.com/assets/65849/z323-quick-start-guide.pdf It only has an analog input. You could plug that into most devices that have a 3.5mm headphone jack.

What do you have them plugged into on the PC? It's intended to plug into a 3.5mm jack.

I wonder what your motherboard is? There are a number of B650 boards in the Gigabyte Aorus line.

Picking one at random (B650M AORUS ELITE rev. 1.2), I see that it has a Realtek sound device. I don't think your Z323 would be detected through the Z3232's analog connection. For that MB, the Z323 would be plugged into the "line out" port in the rear I/O panel of that motherboard.

I hope that I'm not saying things that you already know. That's a pretty high-end system. I might go so far as to say that the Z323 is a fairly cheesy audio device in the context of that system.

Hi sjl, Steve. I can predict that somewhere in the future, someone will google the same issue you had and may very well end up here. It would be great if you could possibly indicate why you marked your issue with “Solved” so as anybody finding this down the track doesn’t have to post “How did you solve this?”
