I'm new hard this forum and I need your help...
I haven't touched my computer for months because of my health.
I have an acer E5 573 G 39 EV laptop I just installed virtuaj dj 2025
it tells me to update my GeForce 920 M drivers, by the device manager
This tells me that it's up to date, maybe my computer is too old?

Looking up that model shows nvidia 940m (but 900m is a whole series driver anyways) as the graphics. The latest driver is from long ago though...

You appear to be running 11 on an unsupported laptop. There's nothing wrong with that.

Acer driver support for that old machine seems limited.

You could try the legacy drivers for the 920M for Windows 10 X64, directly from nVidia.

I hope that Acer hasn't used a custom device ID for their 920M. (Some laptop makers like to do that.) That could make the installer refuse to recognize the GPU.

that and there is no rhyme or reason why they put out same models with different gpus. hp does that too. that combined with skimming makes for high iq posts lmao

No need to update video driver, the instruction is the usual standard generic one.

Nvidia Geforce 920M came out around 2015 there will be no more driver updates anyway.
Latest driver is dated ~2019 (425.31)

You may have a slightly different version from Windows updates tailored to your Laptops specific hardware.
What is the version given by the Device Manager ?

Acer like most big Laptop manufacturers may supply slightly different hardware for models depending on country/area.
