Windows 11 Pro - Windows 7 HP 64 - Lubuntu
Every Edge update I have to reconfigure the new tab and the search engine.
On version 135.0.3179.66 there is no search engine options (only Bing)
To add Google isn't simple as you must add a code on last line.
Does anyone knows how to make Google the default search engine?

Just add it like this search for Eleven Forums.

ends with .....rum.com %s
so Google would be: /search?q=%s

Found a way to add Google search engine.
1) Hit add

Fill in the Name, site and URL (Google Search) and save

Right click on the new (Google) and select Set as default

The question now is why my old Edge version had the search options and after the update it hasn't

Had this same problem with fresh Windows 11 Pro installation using latest image from uupdump.net (Windows 11, version 24H2 (26100.3902) amd64). Was able to add Google as instructed above, but predictive autocomplete search on address bar is not working. Not sure how to fix. On my older Win11 installation, I have Google search working just fine, along with the predictive search.

Even tried to copy&paste the exact search string but no luck.

Managed to fix this:

1) Completely uninstall Microsoft Edge from Settings -> Apps -> Installed apps:

2) Press Win+R to open the Run command and enter: %localappdata%\Microsoft
3) Delete the Edge folder
4) Open Microsoft Store, search for Edge and install.
