Edge to automatically open by default every time you turn on your Windows 11 PC

We are able to make changes in our system because MS allows us to. We are able to run 11 on incompatible hardware because MS allows us to. MS can lock it all down at any time

If any of you think for one minute that MS is not in 100% control and can't over-ride any setting you have made in your system, you are whistling Dixie.

If you check task manager, under startup, edge has had a prerun component for a long time to boost launching it when you open it.

Well this new EDGE startup/open with Windows is getting a great deal of backlash, It currently is only being rolled out gradually to Insiders in the Dev channel I believe. If it does come to the stable branch, one will be able to toggle it off.

The post is basically just an FYI that it's coming. True that, you will be able to disable it although many will no doubt be upset that MS enabled it by default without asking. I rarely ever use Edge and Vivaldi is my default browser so I definitely will be disabling it.
