Solved eM Client

My new surface laptop has just arrived, and I've just setup Outlook for my email as I don't have a spare eM Client license - It reminds me just how much better eM Client is :zip:

I dunno...,
... I could have sworn, when version 8 was the latest version, I saw documentation somewhere that said "up to 3 devices", I think I even took a screenshot of it......, think I can find that screenshot???..., Nooooo!

Anyway, it's working for me..., til they catch up with me and deactivate one or the other!

Three seats is correct; had it running on both my two desktops and one laptop.

However, I recently abandoned eM Client and went back to Thunderbird for a number of reasons:

1. eM Client is s-l-o-w. TBird is considerably faster.
2. eM Client is excruciatingly slow in rendering photos of any significant size; the devs refuse to consider altering the apps behavior to scale pictures to the available window size. Apparently, even though the rest of the world has no trouble doing this (see any webpage), this is heresy to the devs. My friend eMails me a photo from his phone and it takes 2 minutes to render it. "That's the way HTML mail works; tell your friend to stop doing this." The devs are smoking dope.
3. Address an outgoing eMail and see duplicate eMail addresses appear. Fixed that by turning off "recents" and clearing out the old cruft. TBird, Apple Mail, and every other eMail client I've used does not exhibit this behavior.

I got tired of fighting with the quirky behavior of the app and the pigheaded, smug, self-righteous devs.

Nuthin different, I don't think, according to release notes! Just an in-app push, Mac as well as Windows...

I use EmClient. I also support it by subscribing to the pro for $1.99 /month.

I didn't know they had a subsciption version. Is that the Pro for companies? I bought the Pro for individuals and it was a one time purchase.

It is for individual subscriptions. It only pops up if you have more than 2 email accounts on the program itself.

When I first started using em Client I tried the free version with two email accounts. Once I decided I was going to continue using it I bought a license. It was a one time purchase.

I did find that they offer a yearly subscription to their VIP support. Just hoover the mouse cursor over the ?.

Guys,
I downloaded EmClient from the Microsoft Store. Just so you all do not get the two products confused. I believe the subscription is for the product downloaded from the MS store only.

Have you tried setting up more than 2 email accounts ... could MS be charging a subscription amount for the free version?

What does the eMClient license information show - Menu > Help > License ?
