This tutorial will show you how to turn on or off getting new photo notification from Android mobile devices to open and edit in Snipping Tool for your account in Windows 11.

Starting with Windows 11 build 22631.3235, you can now use the Snipping Tool on your PC to edit the most recent photos and screenshots from your Android device. You will get an instant notification on your PC when your Android device captures a new photo or screenshot.

This new experience replaces the remote capture with Phone Link experience that was announced back on September 14, 2023.

This Get new photo notifications setting from your mobile devices will require linking your Android phone to the PC and Allow this PC to access your mobile devices to be turned on.

EXAMPLE: Notification to open new capture from Android mobile device in Snipping Tool for markup

That's it,
