Solved EndeavourOS_Mercury-Neo-2025.03.19 AMD GPU Drivers

Why do i need manually install Mesa Drivers in EndeavourOS to get RX 9070 working? Should i wait for new version EndeavourOS?

I mean Linux (Host) not VM. I create topic in wrong forum.

I'll have a go with creating a VM of this OS -- but I'll cheat by starting on a LINUX host using KVM/QEMU - the "Virtual Video driver" should handle any "weird" GPU graphic stuff.

I don't have any AMD MOBO hardware though - I suspect that even if you run this as a VM on HYPER-V it's "Virtual video driver" should be able to work. I'll have a go with this too.

I've got some ARM hardware to test as well but that has its own CPU and VIDEO stuff.

BTW nothing wrong in using the Magnet link and using bit torrent for downloading the OS image from the website -- saves bandwidth for the developers -- perfectly 100% legal -- maybe Ms and some other big corporations could use this method more to save really overloading their serverrs -- some of these corporations are so penny-pinching that I'm surprised they don't already do it. With good DHT and proper encryption - nothing wong in "LEGAL" torrenting.

Arch Linux - perfectly 100% respected and long time running distro - although not the easiest for beginners has been using this method for years - never picked up a trace of malware when retrieving latest builds.

Simply use a safe good bit-torrent client such as qBittorrent (runs on Windows and Linux).
