So is Macrium.. this is just an odd error.This is "one" of the reasons I continue to update and use Acronis, it's been flawless since I bought my first version in 2009.
I'm trying to recreate the error and so far I've had no luck. I'll keep trying.

I would go into Event Viewer>Windows Logs>Application and look for any errors before the error you posted and you may find an original error that leads to or causes the one you posted. I would also look at this page (for a different application but same problem) and look first at the procedure at the very bottom of the page as it could be a simple problem with the Windows Installer Service.

It was just an opinion, I wasn't dissing any backup software. I like to be able to store my data in the cloud, it's one of the reasons I use Acronis.Maybe for you, other will say differently. All those programs are good and have a massive following so one is no better than the other.
