OS
Windows 11 Pro 64 bit
Winver 24H2 (OS Build 26100.4061)

For some reason, I have my OneDrive folder appearing twice in the Home Tab, as below.

Home Tab.webp
I've had a look in the Forum search, and found instructions for deleting the Home entry which worked, but I cannot spot any reference to this.

Any suggestions as to how to remove one (or maybe both as I could simply use the Quick Access section below), unless this is a bad idea.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Colin

Do you have more than one entry for OneDrive, in the subkeys of HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Desktop\NameSpace?

Wow that's quick. Many thanks.

Yes I do. One has Data "One Drive - Personal", the other just has "One Drive"

Both items in the Home Tab appear to have identical listings, so does it matter which I delete?

Thanks Colin

Right-click on the Namespace key, and choose Export. That will dump the key out to a file, in case something goes awry.

I would delete the one that just says OneDrive. Reboot, and see if it comes back.

Done as suggested. The second entry in NameSpace did not re-appear after the re-boot, and the duplicate entry in the Home Tab is also gone.

Perfect solution and so fast. Many many thanks.

Interestingly, my Double entries have returned. I've no idea when, only noticed it today. There was a Windows update this morning which may have caused a reset.

The twin entries appear on both my laptop and my desktop, and yes I have double entries in the NameSpace SubKeys.

Anyway it is not worth worrying about but I thought I shd update here as it may just return if removed.
